The Corleone House is significant to "The Godfather" because, it's where Vito (the original godfather) would host meetings and where eventually murders would take place on anyone that overstepped him. I found this information from a wiki fandom called, "The Godfather Wiki." This source is an example of a collective authorship, it was directed by Francis Ford Coppola but, he also had 33 other credited people on crew and this movie couldn't have been done just by himself. It shows from specific lighting and shots within the movie especially in the opening scene where its this dim atmosphere that creates this ominous feeling; this was the intention from the director but I am 100% positive that if he didn't have others helping, the shot wouldn't have been impactful as it was. Mapping this location on COVE adds a certain layer to the movie, from where its placed, to even how it looks with the vines hanging from the roof and making it seem like its been there for years and is almost abandoned. Without that specific location, I don't think that the movie wouldn't have been as successful as it was.
