Bundelkhand

Bundelkhand is a region and mountain range in central India, now divided between the states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Bundelkhand’s largest city is Jhansi, a major cultural and economic center. The British ruled the region from 1802 until 1947.
