Christina Rossetti "Goblin Market"

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

In this painting I decided to paint how I portayed a scene in the "Goblin Market" by Christina Rossetti. Lizzie talked of how a women named Jeanie had eaten the fruits of the goblins and died on the groung and no grass or flowers grow where she died. On the right side of the painting I attempted to paint the juicy fruits that the goblins were offering women. Then there is a path that splits the goblins market from the women. I used a couple different mediums: water color, acrylic, and some markers. I am not the best artist but I thought it would be fun to change it up.
