Going to Costa Rica marked an indescribable change in my life because it wasn't just my first time out of the country; it opened my eyes to different experiences and a whole new outlook on life. If someone else were researching this place, I would point them to school and church websites, the tourist attractions that we were able to visit during this trip, and a map of Costa Rica. This place shows a change in my independence and perspective because I was able to step out of my comfort zone to serve others. During this mission trip, I helped to paint a classroom for new develped school, went grocery shopping for families in need, and was able to deliver it personally. We also visited different schools where we shared Bible stories and played games with students. This experience taught me the importance of service, gratitude, and faith. Mapping this place reveals how geography and person histroy and tied together because going to Costa Rica became more than just a place I visited; it became a place that encouraged me to volunteer more, help others, travel more,  and grow deeper in my faith.
