Title: Poems of Christina Rossetti

Publisher: Gramercy Books,1994. Published in Avenel, New Jersey, United States; printed and bound in Singapore. Audience: The book was marketed towards adults, particularly collectors and academics interested in Rossetti's work following the revival of Rossetti scholarship in the late 20th century. The book's introduction, written by Gail Harvey, reflects this intended readership, providing a historical background of Rossetti's life and work, and the publication of the original Harrison illustrations.

Text: The poem is printed in full, as it was in the original 1910 and 1923 editions. The book also includes 14 other Rossetti poems: "Up-Hill," "The Convent Threshold," "Repining," "Heart's Chill Between," "Death's Chill Between," "Dream Land," "A Birthday," "Twilight Calm," "Maiden Song," "Spring," "Love From the North," "First Spring Day," "Child's Talk in April," and "Summer."

Author: The editor of this edition is Gail Harvey, who has published several other poetry collections for Gramercy Books.

Artist: The artist responsible for the original illustrations printed in this edition is Florence Harrison (1877-1955), an English illustrator associated with the Art Nouveau and Pre-Raphaelite schools. This specific edition was designed by Kathryn W. Plosica.

Illustrations: This book contains a selection of the original colour-plate illustrations by Florence Harrison done for the original 1910 edition, in additon to the smaller black and white ornamental illustrations (printed in this edition with purple ink).
