Folio 5

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

Folio 5 contains

Folio 5 contains a full page (p.5) from the Blackwood's 1889 printing glued down onto a notebook page. Wilde's annotations are both on the Blackwood's page and run off into the margins of the notebook. Some of the annotations are lengthier than those in the preceeding pages. The bottom of the notebook page is crumbling and with some care the bottom right corner can be read as "that Mr W. H. stands for Mr Henry Willobie, the young Oxford poet, with the initials of his name reversed;"
