Emily travels through the plains of Languedoc more than once during her journeys. This region contains the captial of Toulouse. As well as now contained in the modern day region of Occitane.
It is a region significant to the production of wine and fun fact! has more than a third of the grapes in all of France.
The landscape is rich in vibrate greens and rocky mountains. It is a beautiful place to visit and if you like to drink and learn about wine.
