Sir Walter Scott Images

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

The book is a copy that can be bought here.

As for the portrait, Sir Walter Scott had a huge love for dogs. He had several artists create portraits with his dogs sitting next to him or portraits of the dogs by themselves. In fact, there is even a dog breed called Dandie Dinmont Terrier that was named after Scott's character in his novel Guy Mannering.
