Wormsloe State Historic Site marks a change in my life because I was surrounded by the most beautiful scenery and fascinating history with my best friend, now boyfriend. This marks a transition out of my comfort zone to explore a new city while also forcing me to realize how I am both significant and insignificant within the scheme of things. Being here helped me understand the impact of human habit and made me realize I am also a part of that. I would direct anyone looking into Wormsloe to the official Wormsloe State Historic Site website through the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, as this is the official website for the historical site. This place shows the avenue lined with live oaks (pictured above) that have been shaped by the countless passerbys, which made me conceptualize how truly eternal the presence of humans is. Mapping this place emphasizes a beautiful place to explore, learn, and come to terms with your own existence.
