Gibraltar is an overseas British Territory located at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula near Spain. Its landscape includes the famous Rock of Gibraltar. Gibraltar came under British control when it was captured by Anglo-Dutch forces during the War of Spanish Succession and it was a base for the Royal Navy during the Napoleonic Wars and World War II.
