Landscape-Kimber

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

To catch a tract of land “innocently”, I took my partner and our pet to a nearby park. I backed up far enough to where I could capture the yard and the playground in the back. In my second photo, I tried to frame it by focusing more on the landscape. By the time we took the third photo, we could both tell that our cat hated everything about this little adventure. Once, he crawled up on top of the bench and started staring at me, I noticed that he looked like he was in prison (and probably felt like it, too). In my third photograph, the “argument” is my cat appearing to be stuck or trapped behind bars while the beautiful landscape in the background is open for him to roam and explore, as he should naturally want to. However, a life in captivity has robbed him of this curiosity.
