Pall Mall Gazette

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

This was a newspaper article written to elaborate on investigative journalism. It investigated immoral, scandalous, or illegal activity that was taking place during that time. It gave well known writers a platform to shape modern journalism because the writings were extremely interesting and easy to read, including illustrations to catch the audience’s eye. The Body Snatcher directly correlated with the actual immoral issue of grave digging, and selling human body parts for financial gain. With a newspaper created to expose scandalous circumstances such as these, the topic of grave digging had to be discussed in the article. Explaining to society how this was problematic and an injustice to loved ones of those who are dead. Which supports the claim of ungodly and unremorseful acts described in the story itself.
