Ship of the Windrush Generation

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

The Windrush Generation is still seeking justice for thier citizenship. This image reprsents just how many immigrants came legally under law at the time to the UK from the Caribbean. This same large number of immigrants were detained, deported and denied their rights when new laws were passed and the Home Office of the UK placed burdens on their citizenship. This photo aims to show how many people were affected by this, and how many are still fighting for their human rights today. The Home Office has still not righted their wrongs to the group, and they are still waiting for justice. Reform is not a historical event, it is something that must continuosly occur, and needs to happen for the Windrush Generation.
