Anthony Trollope's The Fixed Period is published

Trollope’s The Fixed Period, written between December 1880 and February 1881, was first published in Blackwood’s Edinburgh Magazine in six serial parts from October 1881 to March 1882. After the last instalment, the novel was published in volume form in March 1882.
