John Wesley Evangelist
John Welsey was a Methodist Evangelist in London, who also had. Wesley was mainly noted for being the father of the Methodist movement. According to the Victorian Web, Wesely traveld through England spreading the Good News with power and those who would hear would convert. Welsey was noted for his evangelism work with prison groups and the poor. The ways in which he helped the poor involved providing food, medicine and other types of relief ( Britannica). His importance in London is seen in the evanglism work that he did and his works with the Methodist movement. One can also note the relation to Bleak House because Welsey was that shows a great model of philanthropy which the theme of philanthropy is exhibited throughout the novel.
