Virginia Woolf's novel, Mrs Dalloway, was published in 1925 by Hogarth Press, a publishing house founded by Woolf and her husband, Leonard Woolf, in 1917. Woolf's sister, Vanessa Bell, designed and illustrated the novel's book jacket.
