Oscar Wilde Edits TPDG

 

After J.M Stoddart originally published The Picture of Dorian Gray with a portion of the book edited and censored, Wilde made his own edits. Wilde's revisions consist of similar censorships that Stoddart took, and many of the phrases Wilde edited could be seen as "homoerotic". 

Here, Merlin Holland, Oscar's grandson, worked closely with the publishers to decipher Oscar's revisions.
