Vincenzo Scamozzi

Scamozzi was an architect from Italy, and a pupil of Palladio's. He learned from Palladio directly, and was comissioned to finish several of Palladio's buildings after his death. Although there is clear Palladian influence in his architecture, Scamozzi ventured to leave his mark, as demonstrated by his influence on the Teatro Olimpico. Like Palladio, he wrote a book on architecture, titled "L'Idea dell'Architectura Universale."
