French Revolution

The French Revolution began in 1789 and lasted for six years, so from 1789 to 1794, the people of France were fighting for liberty, equality, and fraternity due to the feeling of betrayal and being upset about the current conditions they were living in from the result of being broke from the previous year of 1788 where the population grew causing them to run out of food from the terrible winter. The citiizens of Paris were completely annoyed with their government so in order for the unheard to somehow make a difference, they decided to riot. The French Revolution shaped many lives, including the lives of Romatists. Romantists like Mary Shelley was heavily influenced by French Revolution as the 'freedom of speech' allowed the writers to freely expose their feelings, hoping to make a difference, hoping to change lives.
