Education: Forming and Reforming Minds in Harrisburg, 1823-2023 (IDS 401 Central Penn College Spring 2023)

This Exhibition will talk about the different races that immigrated to the United States during the 19th and 20th centuries. Some examples include Italians Russian and Jewish, I was also able to find more races but not being able to post them due to how small the file was. My main topic was education in English as a Second language but was unsuccessful to find a gallery for it so I only focus on the Immigration part of it. the images include articles talking about how each ethnicity began moving into the United States and Acts that were passed to accommodate said ethnic groups such as the Cuban Accommodation Act.

Italian Americans in Philadelphia

This Journal Talks about the history of Italian immigration to Pennsylvania.The Italians began migrating before the Amerian Revolution but it wasn't until the 1800s that they began a settlement.
Cuban Immigration

This graph shows how the Cuban population has increased from the 1980s to 2018. The article from this image talks about the Cuban Migration to the US and the Cuban Adjustment Act.
American Jewish Yearbook

This Image shows the Immense amount of Jewish in the Yearbook across the US. This picture also includes Harrisburg PA dating from 1905 to 1912. It only shows cities with more than 1,000 Jewish Immigrants residing in each of them.
