S.H Sime's "Inzana Calls Up The Thunder"

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

Sime's illustration titled  "Inzana Calls Up The Thunder" is used for Lord Dunsays book "Time And the Gods" and depicts an example of good power being used by the powerful Izana (the woman in the photo). This photo's importance is Simes's tactic of incorporating lightness and darkness in his work. The forces of nature are depicted in a bright light, and their radiance shines back into the occult world that harbours fantastical beasts and ultimately breaks through it. This brightness can represent an unveiling of the occult world as Sime and Dunsay venture through their different realm in their work.
