Victorian Blood Transfusions (Happy Halloween!)

Description:

This is a diagram of what Victorian transfusions looked like to an outsider. Titled 'James Blundell's Graviator' it comes from the collection of Observation on the Transfusion of Blood between human beings. The contraption that Blundell is using is hypothetically meant to help stall the coagulation process of blood as it travels from one host to the next.
