Saturday, August 15, 2020, Breakout Workshop 5: "Galleries" Dashboard
Description
This group is for participants in the Saturday, August 15, 2020 hands-on Breakout Workshop no. 5, on building galleries in the COVE.
In this space, you can explore existing COVE galleries, build your own, and add items to it.
During the workshop, I will discuss gallery construction with reference to my COVE edition of James Malcolm Rymer's penny dreadful A Mystery in Scarlet, which is designed as a gallery. You can browse it here:
https://editions.covecollective.org/edition/mystery-scarlet
... and, for a gallery view of the installments, go to "Illustrations and Text by Installment," here:

You can explore many other exhibits here:

The Rossetti Archive exhibits constitute a particularly good example of how the COVE ingests content and then makes it available for “open assembly.” The George Eliot Exhibit is another example of an exhibit being submitted for publication:

Testing this out before I create one on my class page.
Here, workshop participants may edit the description of this gallery.
