A series of events
- Murph solves the gravity equation, which allows the stations to be launched from earth’s surface and into space. Cooper Station (named after Murph) is launched from Earth and placed in orbit of various planets in-system. Missions are being prepared to rescue surviving Lazarus astronauts and to explore other star systems through the wormhole.
- Cooper fall into the black hole. TARS (one of four former U.S. Marine Corps tactical robots) studies the singularity of quantum data and collects them. Cooper enters the Tesseract's 5th dimensional space to relay the data to Murph.
The Tesseract is an enormous, hyper-cubic, grid-like structure and a means of communication for the bulk beings (sentient beings able to perceive higher dimensions) to express action through gravity with NASA.
The bulk beings can perceive five dimensions as opposed to four, able to see every moment in the past, present, and future. The bulk beings can influence gravity within any of those time frames.
- In 2154 Murph enters hypersleep at a station orbiting Earth. Two years later Cooper was found and recovered near Saturn. Murph is awoken and she arrives at Cooper Station two weeks later when she finally meets his father.
