Carlisle
Carlisle is a city in Cumbria in the northwest of England, located ten miles south of the border with Scotland. It is situated at the confluence of the rivers Eden, Caldew, and Petteril, and is home to a medieval castle and cathedral. The town was a hub of the Industrial Revolution, with textile and food factories and engineering works.
