The Acropolis is an ancient citadel located in Athens, Greece and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is famous for the Parthenon, a temple dating from the fifth century BCE and dedicated to the ancient Greek goddess Athena. Other temples on the Acropolis include the Propylaea, the Erectheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike.
