The Albert embankment is part of the Thames Embankment along the south bank of the river Thames in central London, England. It runs from Vauxhall Bridge to Westminster Bridge. It was designed by Joseph Bazalgette as a project of the Metropolitan Board of Works, which intended to provide London with a modern sewer system.
