Alfoxton House is an eighteenth-century home in Holford, Somerset, England. William and Dorothy Wordsworth lived here from July 1797 to June 1798. Dorothy began her journals here (which were completed later when she moved to the Lake District), and they were published as The Alfoxden Journal, 1798 and The Grasmere Journals, 1800-1803.
