Anglesey

Anglesey is a Welsh island that is the largest island in Wales and the Irish Sea. Anglesey is one of the thirteen historical counties of Wales. The Menai Suspension Bridge and the Britannia Bridge connect Anglesey to the mainland. The majority of inhabitants speak Welsh. Historically, both British Iron Age and Roman sites have been excavated here. It was also controlled by Irish pirates, Scots, Vikings, Saxons, and Normans.
