Antwerp
Antwerp is a port city in the Flanders region of northern Belgium. Antwerp has long been an important economic and cultural city, hosting artists including Rubens and Van Dyck. It was the site of the Siege of Antwerp in 1832, which followed the Belgian Revolution of 1830. In 1894 the city hosted a world fair, the Exposition Internationale d’Anvers. Today, Antwerp is considered the diamond capital of the world.
