Babbacombe is a small village located just outside Torquay in Devon, England. As part of a network of small towns and villages along Devon’s “English Riviera,” Babbacombe has been a popular seaside resort town since the nineteenth century. More modern attractions developed in the twentieth century include the Babbacombe Model Village and the Babbacombe Cliff Railway, which links the village with Oddiscombe Beach via a railed lift.
