Balochistan

Balochistan is a province in southwestern Pakistan. Of the country’s five provinces, Balochistan is the largest in terms of land area. The capital is Quetta. Currently, the two largest ethnic groups living in the province are the Baloch people and the Pashtuns. The British colonial era began in 1823 with the fall of the Durrani Empire and concluded with Pakistan’s independence in 1947.
