Bayswater, London

Bayswater is an area within the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in central London. The name Bayswater is believed to have originated from a tenant and landowner, Bainiardus, an associate of William the Conqueror, who gave his name to Baynard’s Castle and from a water spring that once supplied his household.
