Bologna

Bologna is the capital of the Emilia-Romagna region, located in northeast Italy. Today, Bologna is a well-preserved historical center and has historically served as a major urban center. The University of Bologna is the world’s oldest university and past students include Dante, Petrarch, and Copernicus.
