Boofy's is a fish and chips restauraunt in Barry Islands at Whitmore Bay. They sell items like cod, bacon rolls, hotdogs, and many things + chips. There's a view of the ocean and "The Codfather of Soul" has been named among UK's best, according to a TripAdvisor review.

In Real Wales, Peter Finch mentions "The Codfather of Soul chipshop on Barry Island seafront" within a list of Wales staples that seemingly only locals know about. He doesn't even mention the actual name (Boofy's) because it is supposed to be a local, Wales-exclusive thing that the locals know about and is a staple of the community.
