Cornhill

Cornhill is a street in the City of London, running between Bank junction and Leadenhall Street. It takes its name from one of the three ancient hills of London. The street is the site of two City churches designed by Sir Christopher Wren: St. Michael, Cornhill, and St Peter upon Cornhill. The literary journal Cornhill Magazine, first edited by William Thackeray, was published at No. 65 Cornhill from 1860 to 1975.
