Delaware Art Museum

The Delaware Art Museum is a museum of visual art located in Wilmington in the north of the U.S. state of Delaware. The focus of the collection is on American art from the nineteenth to the twenty-first centuries. It also includes a collection from the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. The museum was founded in 1912 as the Wilmington Society of the Fine Arts, based on the collection of illustrator Howard Pyle.
