Fetter Lane

Fetter Lane is a street in the ward of Farringdon Without in the City of London, England. It runs between Fleet Street at the south and New Fetter Lane at the north. Thomas Hobbes lived on Fetter Lane, and the fictional Gulliver of Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels lived here temporarily. Birkbeck, University of London was located for 67 years on Fetter Lane.
