Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire is a county in southwestern England. It comprises part of the Cotswold Hills, which were designated as an Area of Outstanding Beauty in 1966 and is the largest protected landscape in England. Also located here: part of the River Severn—the longest river in Great Britain—and the entire Forest of Dean, one of the surviving ancient woodlands in England.
