Halidon Hill

Halidon Hill is a summit of 600 feet (180 m) near the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, at the border between England and Scotland. It is known as the site of the Battle of Halidon Hill on 19 July 1333 during the Second War of Scottish Independence, when Scottish forces under Archibald Douglas were defeated by King Edward III’s English army.
