Haslingden

Haslingden is a town in Rossendale, Lancashire, England, just north of Manchester. It was long known for its stone quarries, with its signature flagstone being more widely distributed in the nineteenth century due to the railways. It has also been long associated with the textile industry. Many immigrants moved here in the nineteenth century, many of them Irish.
