Helvellyn, England

Helvellyn is a large mountain, almost 3117 feet high,  located in Lake District National Park in northwest England. This mountain is a major tourist attraction where tourists go to walk and see the beautiful views at the peak of the hill. This beautiful mountain is mentioned in "Recollections of a Tour Made in Scotland"  when the speaker is comparing a place in Scotland to Helvellyn. This can be seen when the speaker says, "This view is very much like that from Mr. Clarkson’s windows: the mountain in front resembles Hallan; indeed, is almost the same; but Ben Lomond is not seen standing in such majestic company as Helvellyn" (Wordswoth). The speaker is essentially saying Helvellyn is prettier than the spot they are in Scotland, which isn't shocking to the reader because the speaker always complains about Scotland.
