Indus River

The Indus River (locally called Sindhu) is one of the longest rivers in Asia. It runs from the Tibetan Plateau, through Jammu and Kashmire, India, and through Pakistan to merge into the Arabian Sea near Karachi. It is the national river of Pakistan, and it is crucial to the nation’s agricultural production in the Punjab province.
