The Isis-Urania Temple was the first temple of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, which was an organization dedicated to studying the occult and the paranormal in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The Temple was founded in London in 1888. Women were allowed to participate in the order.
