Jaipur

Jaipur is the capital city of the state of Rajasthan in northern India. The Dravyavati River flows through the city. In 1876, to welcome the Prince of Wales (the future Edward VII), the city was painted pink, and many of its avenues remain pink today. It is home to the Jantar Mantar monument and the Amer Fort, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
