Kent (Beachy Head)

Kent is one of the counties that surrounds London, England's capital. It is known as the "garden of England" due to its orchards and allotments, and hills span the length of the county in the form of the North Downs and the Greensand Ridge, part of which are respectably designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

In Beachy Head, it is mentioned once,  "Yet hence the distant range / Of Kentish hills, appear in purple haze;", on lines 494 and 495.
