Laleham-on-Thames, Middlesex

Laleham, a village located in Surry, dates back to the Domesday Book of 1086. Featuring several historic churches and other buildings, the village is also the birthplace of poet and critic Matthew Arnold, who is buried in All Saints’ parish churchyard.
