Leighlinbridge

Leighlinbridge is a small town on the River Barrow in County Carlow, Ireland. It contains Leighlinbridge Castle, one of Ireland’s first Norman castles, and the ruin of the first Carmelite priory in Ireland. The town has won many environmental awards, such as being the national winner of Ireland’s Green Town 2000.
