Minories
Minories is a street in the East End of London. Its name is derived from the former Abbey of the Minoresses of St. Clare without Aldgate near the site of the street, with "minoress" referring to a nun in the Second Order of the Order of Franciscans. The Minories railway station was built in 1840 as part of the London and Blackwall Railway and is now a station on the Docklands Light Railway.
