North Wales
North Wales is a region in Wales. The largest town is Wrexham. It is traditionally divided into the three regions of Upper Gwynedd, Lower Gwynedd, and Ynys Môn. The region was known as the Kingdom of Gwynedd for thousands of years, joining Wales in 1283. The region is a stronghold of the Welsh language and national and cultural identity.
